Do I need to know how to code to use biela.dev?
Nope. You can build entire websites, SaaS apps, CRMs, or dashboards without writing a single line of code. But if you do know how to code, you can switch to code mode anytime for full control.
How much does biela.dev cost?
Every user gets 200,000 free tokens per day. If you want more, you can subscribe to a paid plan or top up your tokens as needed.
What are tokens?
Tokens are how the AI processes your project. On Biela.dev, tokens are used when you send a prompt to the AI. During this process, your project files are included in the message so the AI can understand your code. The larger your project and the longer the AI’s response, the more tokens are needed per message.
Additionally, a small number of tokens are deducted from your account for every minute you use a webcontainer, to cover the cost of the development environment.
How many tokens do I get on the free plan?
Every user on the free plan gets 200,000 tokens per day, refreshed daily.
What happens if I run out of tokens?
No worries! You can always go to Menu → Billing and buy more tokens instantly when needed.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes — at any time. Just head to Menu → Billing to upgrade, downgrade, or switch plans based on your needs.
Do unused tokens roll over?
Currently, tokens reset at their expiration date and don’t roll over — so be sure to make the most of them each day!
Can I export the code I build?
Yes! You can download your full project codebase at any time from the User Dashboard. You own everything you build.
Can I deploy my project on my own domain?
Totally. After deploying your app with one click, just go to Project Settings → Domain Name, add your domain, update your DNS records, and click verify. In 30 minutes to 2 hours, your app will be live.
What happens if I run out of tokens?
biela.dev will pause generation until your tokens refresh in 24 hours. You can also choose to subscribe or purchase a token top-up to continue instantly.
Can I use AI-generated images and videos commercially?
Yes! biela.dev is partnered with Getty Images, so all visuals are premium stock and safe for commercial use. Soon, you’ll be able to browse and insert images directly from the Getty library.

Is my project private or public by default?
By default, your projects are private unless you choose to make them public or generate a share link. You can manage visibility from the Project Settings.
Can I switch AI models mid-project?
Yes. You can change between models like Claude Sonnet 4, Gemini 2.5 Pro, or Gemini 2.5 Flash anytime from the prompt toolbar.

Start with Chat Mode. Just describe your idea like you're texting a friend. Keep it simple. Once you like the result, explore the code or test the live preview. The platform was built to guide you — step by step.
